it looked sooo pretty outside today :)

#the community garden across the street was being cared for (even in winter) by my neighbors #it’s the first day in a long time i came home from work and the sun was up still !!#it was so rosy #got greeted by my dog and my gf and the cat :#life is good even when it’s hard :)#i packed a lunch for me and for lauren and braided her soft hair before bed and sometimes i just want to cry with love #my therapist is helping me find a surgeon for top surgery and i got referred to a pain management specialist by my doc today too #and work was easy and slow today #i can’t sleep rn bc my pain is sooo bad so i’m tucked in the living room knitting w the snoring dog beside me on our tiny green couch #im so sad and so happy lol #personal

I finished my first week back to work! it was busy in a weird but not necessarily bad way. now that T took care of the a/c in my area, my office is nice and cool most of the time. I'm still settling in but I've already completed some tasks and set some stuff up for next week. one nice thing has been the way so many people have expressed what looks like genuine joy and excitement to have me back. I got a couple of weird or uncomfortable comments but overall it's been a positive experience. I never intended to return, but then time passed and things changed and my friendworkers got to me at the right time with an opening in the same department when the pros (health insurance…cash money……being uniquely qualified for the job and the way job hunting is easier (to potential employers) when you are employed………) mostly outweighed the cons. so here I am. I'm here for now but WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!

the side effects of experiencing all this funeral stuff from this up close is honestly that im just starting to plan my own funeral in my head to entertain myself and it also kinda stopped me from being suicidal because i realised no one but me could do it right

#obv i cant kill myself now because that would completely destroy my mother but also because she'd give me catholic funeral #and that would honestly make me come back from the dead just so i could kms again #anyway the real ones will come to my funeral dressed in pink <3 and no open casket unless they really manage to make me look fabulous #i want rainbow flowers (with green carnations!) and i want it to be a met gala level fashion show dont yall dare wear boring black outfits #i want mozart to play and no catholic priests allowed. if a catholic priest tries to go near me all guests should get together to kill him #also saw a grave of some 16y/o girl apparently obsessed with h/arry p/otter today and as much as i hate HP it was AWESOME #she had a bunch of little funko pops figures there and even a hp candle #and there was obv a cross with jesus on it but he had that little ball with wings on a translucent thread tied to his hand lol #and there was also a framed picture of her and her friends goofing off and pointing their middle fingers at the camera and like. yeah #obv very sad but this is the kind of grave id like. obv not with fucking hp 💀 but i feel so fucking uncomfortable with the thought #that people might come to my grave and be all solemn and cry and make a big deal out of it like plz ffs dont #i mean obv i wouldnt be uncomfortable cause id be. well. dead. but if my funeral is boring and/or catholic then fuck this im just not dying

i am devastated, i read a book today and didn’t realize it was part of an ongoing series until like halfway through this is the worst thing that has ever happened to me

#it was delilah green doesn’t care btw #a book i really enjoyed!!! and i really liked pretty much all the characters!!!#but it wasn’t until like 100 pages in that i was like wait astrid… iris… i think i heard those names around sapphic booktok #and then i searched the author and turns out both of them have their own books and ughhhh i wanna read them so badddd #but 1.astrid parker doesn’t fail is out in the us but not in brazil yet and i really wanted to buy the brazilian ver to match my delilah on #and 2. iris kelly doesn’t date isn’t even out yet and the ppl i heard talking about it had read the arc #😩😩😩#now i have to wait but i fucking hatee it i hateeee reading books from series that are yet to be completed #cause by the time i read the sequel i always forget what happened in the first book #also today i was supposed to use reading as a stop in between studying #as suggested by my psychiatrist to try to focus on studying with my adhd #did not work 🤪#i suspect i need medication but he’s very careful with prescribing it so we’re trying alternative methods #for like a year before assessing if i really do need it #you know i think it’s very fair to be careful with meds and seeing as my adhd isn’t debilitating #i think he’s doing the right thing to be sure that i need it so as to avoid making me dependent on something i might not need #but… i think i do need it lol
